Arithmetic progression

This online calculator computes the last nth term of arithmetic progression and the sum of the members

Definition:
Arithmetic progression is a sequence, such as the positive odd integers 1, 3, 5, 7, . . . , in which each term after the first is formed by adding a constant to the preceding term.

This constant difference is called common difference.

Given this, each member of progression can be expressed as
a_n=a_1+d(n-1)

Sum of the n members of arithmetic progression is
S_n=\frac{(a_1+a_n)n}{2}

Below is the calculator of the nth term and sum of n members of progression. To solve typical arithmetic sequence problems, you can use this calculator.
