How the Dart Calculator Works
1. Game Types Explained
- 501: Start at 501 points. Finish on any double (double-out).
- 301: Start at 301 points. Double-out required.
- 301 Double-In: Double required to activate scoring + double-out finish.
2. Recording Throws

3. Scoring Rules
- 3 darts per turn per player
- BUST Conditions (turn invalid):
- Score < 0
- Ends at 1
- Finishes without double
- (For 301 Double-In): Scoring before hitting first double
- Auto Revert: Score resets to pre-turn value on bust
4. Checkout Hints
When finish is possible in 2-3 darts: "Checkout: T20 T20 D15"
