You can enter the data in either metric or imperial units. This means that you should either enter
- the distance in kilometers, the fuel tank volume in liters, the average consumption of fuel in liters per 100 kilometers and the price for 1 liter
or
- the distance in miles, the fuel tank volume in gallons, the average consumption of fuel in gallons per 100 miles and price for 1 gallon.
The calculation is based on the average consumption per one hundred kilometers or miles
