This calculator evaluates mathematical expressions with degrees. It supports simple mathematical operations like addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. Like Binary numbers calculator, it is based on Mathematical calculator.
The tricky part is degree notation. The . symbol separates the whole part of the degree from the fractional part. The ' symbol marks minutes and two ' characters ('') mark seconds; otherwise, the part after the dot is considered as a decimal fraction of degree.
Some examples:
15 - 15 degrees 0 minutes 0 seconds
15.3 - 15 degrees 18 minutes 0 seconds (.3 is interpreted as decimal fraction)
15.3' - 15 degrees 3 minutes 0 seconds (is interpreted as degrees/minutes)
15.3'5 - 15 degrees 3 minutes 5 seconds (is interpreted as degrees/minutes/seconds)
15.3'5' - 15 degrees 3 minutes 5 seconds (is interpreted as degrees/minutes/seconds)
15.3'5'' - 15 degrees 3 minutes 5 seconds (is interpreted as degrees/minutes/seconds)
15.3.5 - 15 degrees 3 minutes 5 seconds (is interpreted as degrees/minutes/seconds)
.3 - 0 degrees 18 minutes 0 seconds (.3 is interpreted as decimal fraction)
.3' - 0 degrees 3 minutes 0 seconds (is interpreted as degrees/minutes/seconds)
.3.5 - 0 degrees 3 minutes 5 seconds (is interpreted as degrees/minutes/seconds)
.3'5 - 0 degrees 3 minutes 5 seconds (is interpreted as degrees/minutes/seconds)
.3'5' - 0 degrees 3 minutes 5 seconds (is interpreted as degrees/minutes/seconds)
.3'5'' - 0 degrees 3 minutes 5 seconds (is interpreted as degrees/minutes/seconds)
