Kart Racing Heat Generator

The kart racing heat grid generator is a tool designed to ensure that each racer tries each starting position/kart in random order during a kart racing event.

With this calculator, you can enter the number of karts/starting positions and the number of racers, and the tool generates heat grids that provide a random schedule for each racer, so none would wait too long for his next heat and compete with different racers each time.

The generated heat grid consists of two tables. The first table shows the list of racers for each heat, in the order of the karts/starting positions. The second table shows each racer's schedule, including the heats in which they will participate and the kart/starting position they will drive during each heat.

The generator tries to provide equal opportunities for all racers, but due to the limitations of the available karts and starting positions, it may not always be possible to have a perfectly even distribution.
